Ricky is a Principal Consultant with AQC with over nine years’ relevant experience. He has undertaken and managed air quality assessments for a wide range of projects, assessing many different pollution sources using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, with most assessments having included dispersion modelling (using a variety of models). He has assessed road schemes, airports, energy from waste facilities, anaerobic digesters, poultry farms, urban extensions, rail freight interchanges, energy centres, waste handling sites, sewage works and shopping and sports centres, amongst others. He also has experience in ambient air quality monitoring, the analysis and interpretation of air quality monitoring data, the monitoring and assessment of nuisance odours and the monitoring and assessment of construction dust.

Air Quality Consultants updated the Air Quality Action Plan for the London Borough of Ealing. A list of actions was developed in consultation with the Steering Group. Support was provided for the public consultation on the Plan.
Air Quality Consultants was able to demonstrate that the existing configuration of the plant was acceptable, with no new chimney stack required, saving the client more than £100,000 in up-front costs, as well as avoiding potential local opposition.
