Landscape design and environmental inputs to various projects over a number of years including: a campus masterplan, new children’s, cancer and orthopeadic hospitals, and a helipad.
A biophilic design approach aimed to speed up the recovery of patients but also reduce stress and improve well-being for staff and visitors.
Anti-allergy landscapes were proposed to minimise the amount of airborne pollen - the main cause of hay fever.
Biodiversity was also a key driver in order to reach Cambridge County Council’s ambitious Biodiversity Net Gain target of 20%.
Proposals included an artificial house martin colony wall to specifically benefit the local house martin population.
