health
The quality of the air we breathe has important implications for human health.
Air quality assessments address human health by reference to air quality objectives and limit values. However, there is growing evidence that exposure below these limits can still affect health. When appropriate, the numbers of people affected, from hospital admissions to mortality, are calculated.
