Led the environmental permit application for the relocation of the Manufacturing Support Facility at Cambridge airport.
The facility includes the surface treatment of metals and coating and recoating of aircraft components.
The company was initially approached to deliver a bespoke Part A(1) installation permit application. The capacity of the facility was reviewed and it was identified that a bespoke permit was not required and a simpler, Standard Rules permit for a low impact installation was appropriate.
The successful application for a Standard Rules permit saved the Operator both time and cost.
