Air Quality Consultants were engaged early in the design process to ensure that the relocated livestock market would not lead to odour impacts at nearby properties. An Air Quality Assessment was also prepared to determine the impact of emissions from additional traffic upon the local area.
The proposed Tasley Gateway development incorporates up to 550 dwellings; foodstore; neighbourhood centre; 6.7ha B2/B8 business use and appropriate sui generis uses to include hotel, public house, petrol filling and electric vehicle charging station; new livestock market, lairage and ancillary uses; green infrastructure and associated ancillary works; demolition of the existing livestock market
Air Quality Consultants were engaged by Tasley Estates early in the design process to ensure that the relocated livestock market would not lead to odour impacts at nearby properties. Initial advice was provided on layouts, which was refined following a series of sniff tests carried out by consultants with a known acuity to odour. The results of sniff tests and measures to mitigate any potential impacts were incorporated in an Odour Assessment, which was submitted in support of the planning application.
An Air Quality Assessment was also prepared to determine the impact of emissions from additional traffic upon the local area. This included air quality dispersion modelling of impacts upon the Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) in the centre of Bridgenorth.

Thoroughly enjoyed working with AQC. The final report is excellent and just what I had hoped for. Thank you.
