Air Quality and Biodiversity Conference

Air Quality Consultants is contributing to CIEEM Spring Conference on ‘Assessment and Mitigation of Air Quality Impacts on Biodiversity’ on 4 March 2020

Dr Ben Marner, Technical Director with Air Quality Consultants Ltd, will be presenting on ‘NOx and Ammonia from Road Traffic – Some Inconvenient Truths’, at the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) Spring Conference in Sheffield on 4 March 2020 (more here).  This will include an introduction to the CREAM tool that he has developed for ammonia emissions from road traffic (more here).  At the same event, Prof. Duncan Laxen, Associate of Air Quality Consultants Ltd, will be chairing the afternoon session, which starts with a Panel Discussion that will address questions around defining significance for ecological assessments driven by air quality impacts.  Prof. Laxen has written a blog for CIEEM that covers some of the issues that will be tackled during the conference, which can be read here.
